How AR/VR is going to shape the future of work

September 24, 2020 - 10AM PT

Augmented and virtual reality was once considered a set of consumer gaming technologies. With the acceleration of remote work, this is changing, as companies search for new ways to make remote work more viable by giving remote employees a sense of presence during meetings and other collaborative efforts. AR superimposes computer-generated images and overlays information on a user's real-world view. VR takes this a step further by creating an immersive virtual environment.

Join us for an insightful webinar with guest speakers Maria Fernandez Guajardo, Director, Future of Work, Facebook Reality Labs and Anurag Dhingra, VP/CTO Cisco Webex to discuss:
• How AR/VR is going to shape the future of work
• How it can provide remote presence to employees who are not in office
• How close it is to becoming mainstream

The pandemic’s impact on the future of work

October 15, 2020 - 12PM PT

75% of more than 25,000 respondents to a recent IBM survey indicated they would like to work remotely at least occasionally post-pandemic. And 54% said they’d like this to be their primary way of working. This is staggering in comparison to the 20% of employees who were remote pre-pandemic. The global pandemic is going to change the way work is done, with employers becoming more agile and providing flexibility to their employees. The workplace is also going to change post-pandemic, and emphasis will be on safety. Technology will play an important part in shaping the future of work.

Join CMSWire and Scott Edwards, Sr Director - Solution Marketing from Cisco in a fireside chat with Jillian Walker, Principal consultant - Visionary Innovation Group from Frost and Sullivan and Adam Saenger, VP, Adaptive Networking from Lumen Technologies for a live webinar on how the global pandemic is reshaping the future of work.
